We took inspiration from the delicious caramely coconut filling usually found in these little gems. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eThe fudgy cake here is made with coconut, organic coconut sugar \u0026amp; brown butter which along with the caramelized coconut crust on top lends a flavor profile that is utterly nutty \u0026amp; moreish, mimicking the toastiness of a Modak filling fairly well.
