Wholegrain Salted Ajwain Naankhatai (Eggless)

This is our riff on a super old school naankhatai that we would find in grocery shops, sitting in glass jars, on dusty counters while growing up. Sweet & salty, these would come in a shape of round balls with a hint of cumin or kalonji and would go down a treat with hot chai in the winters.
We have chosen to use a mix of ajwain and kalonji here. Mildly sweet and salty, they are so good with a cup of tea or coffee. They are of course made with wholegrain flour, unrefined sugar and the best ingredients we can find.
