Ordering
How do I place an order?
You can browse and order our full menu online. Product pages carry icons indicating whether an item is available for pan-india shipping or for local delivery / pickup only. Everything is made fresh after an order is placed and the payment is made. We add it to our baking schedule and notify you when it is ready for pickup or delivery.
Can i place an order over the phone, sms, email, whatsapp or any of the food delivery apps?
Nope. Orders can only be placed via our website.
How much in advance do i need to place an order?
We typically require 2 days for any order. Lead times may vary depending on our baking schedule at the time of ordering. We're closed for production on Sundays and Mondays.
Can i pickup or get delivery on a specific date?
Yes. Select the preferred date on the checkout page and we'll schedule it accordingly.
Can I customise my bakes?
We do not customize our bakes but are able to do minor adjustments. Write to us to find out what's possible.
Are all products available year-round?
Some bakes are seasonal and may not always be available. These are marked on the product page.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity. We do encourage mindful ordering so that packaging and logistics resources are used efficiently.
Do you accept party / bulk / wholesale / b2b orders?
Yes, if it is planned well in advance and only for items in our menu. Pricing will be as per the website, irrespective of the quantity ordered.

Do you accept cash-on-delivery?
Nope. All orders are prepaid and only after that do they go into our production schedule.
Subscriptions
What kind of subscriptions do you offer?
For most of our breads, we set up a minimum 6-week subscription where you can choose the day of the week (wednesday through sunday) for your pickup or delivery within Pune city. Cereals are also available for subscription via our website.
What is the benefit of setting up a subscription?
Predictability in your schedule and free delivery within Pune city.
Can i customize my subscription?
Yes, you can mix and match items across product categories and get multiple deliveries in Pune city in a week. Write to us and we can set it up for you.
Sourdough & Baguette Schedule
When should I order sourdoughs or baguettes?
Our sourdoughs and baguettes follow a specific fermentation and baking schedule. Typically, if your order by 7 pm on a Monday, we mix the bread on Tuesday, it goes into the oven on Wednesday and is delivered within Pune city on Thursday.
You can order anytime and pick the date of delivery on the checkout page.
Are there any days the bakery is closed for production?
The bakery is closed for production on Sundays and Mondays.
Pune Delivery
Do you deliver within Pune?
Yes. Our full menu is available for delivery within Pune city. We use our own delivery service with bags designed to carry even the most delicate bakes. Delivery fees are as follows:
- Pune Local — ₹50
- Pune City — ₹100
- Almost Pune — ₹200
- Subscribers — free delivery within Pune
Which areas fall outside your Pune city definition?
Pune is expanding rapidly. Areas we currently consider outside standard Pune city delivery include Pimpri, Nigdi, Talegaon, Gahunje, Ravet, parts of Hinjewadi, Bhugaon, Nanded City, parts of Katraj & Singhad Road, Warje, Phursungi, Wagholi, Alandi, and Bhosari, among others. For these locations we can arrange delivery and charge on actuals. Please contact us to check options for your address.
Can I send a delivery service to pick up my order?
Yes. Services such as Ola, Uber, Porter, or Wefast can collect your orders with Pune city. Please confirm with us that your order is ready before arranging a pickup.
Can I pick up my order myself?
Absolutely. Pickup from our bakery in Balewadi, Pune is always available. Please confirm with us that your order is ready before visiting.
Pan-India Shipping
Do you ship across India?
Yes. We ship pan-India via Shree Maruti Courier and similar services. We dispatch from Tuesday through Saturday to most locations, with an estimated delivery time of 1–2 days.
Which products can be shipped pan-India?
Look for the tag "Shippable, pan-India" on the product page.
Tea Cakes and Breads (unsliced) are shipped only to destinations with a 1-day delivery estimate — typically Tier 1 cities (direct flight from Pune). For Tier 2 and beyond, where transit takes longer, we ship shelf-stable products such as Cereals, Nut Butters, Cookies, and similar items. If the estimated delivery time is longer than expected, we may reach out to explore alternatives.
How are pan-India shipping fees calculated?
Shipping fees for deliveries outside Pune are calculated based on the shipping weight of your order — ₹100 per ½ kg.
Packaging
What is your approach to packaging?
We prioritise eco-friendly packaging without compromising freshness. Butter paper and brown paper boxes and pouches are used as far as possible. Plastic pouches and bottles are used for some products where necessary.
Storage
How should I store my bakes?
Since all our products are made without preservatives or additives, they require a little extra care. Here are the guidelines by category:
Breads — Transfer immediately into an airtight container. Good for 2–3 days at room temperature. Refrigerate in warm or humid weather. Freeze in ziplock bags for longer storage.
Nut Butters — Store at room temperature; best within 2–3 weeks. Pestos and Compotes require refrigeration at all times and are best consumed within a week.
Biscuits & Cookies — Transfer from pouches into airtight containers. Biscottis and shortbread are best consumed within 7–10 days. Most other cookies within 2–3 days.
Cereals & Mixes — Store in airtight containers at room temperature. Can be refrigerated to extend shelf life. Best consumed within a couple of weeks.
Cakes & Pastries — Refrigeration is required. Best consumed within 2–3 days.
Pantry — Refrigerate at all times. Best consumed within 2–3 days.
