We have been into oranges lately. We have been boiling, juicing, candying oranges galore and a Lime & Orange Curd was a natural progression.
From there we moved on to pairing this beautiful curd with other friendly flavours. So this little tart has layers of a fudgy & nutty baked hazelnut financier, tangy & super bright Lime Orange Curd, offset by soft set Belgian Chocolate Cream. It all comfortably sits in a flaky and buttery pastry. A final flourish of flaky sea salt, chopped toasted hazelnuts and candied orange bits rounds it off beautifully.
It's truly a combination of texture and flavours made in heaven and we couldn't think of a better way to start this New Year!
